Education

For the 6th year I have been involved with the East Renfrewshire Storytelling Festival, telling stories in Primary schools and libraries. This year I was also delighted to be 'Storyteller in Residence' at Netherlee school, spending 7 days working with children to enhance their storytelling skills. It is a pleasure to be working in a school where arts and music are obviously seen as core to the children?s education, and so thoroughly valued.

Co-Create - funded by LTS and coordinated by Feis Rois. I was whisked back to my old stomping ground of Aberdeenshire to take part in this initiative. The aim was to develop storytelling skills, traditional dance and music/song writing. The results of this work are now on GLOW and are being discussed at a Conference on 20th April in Perth.
